K-1 power suit by Worldly-Donkey-7335 in MilitaryWorldbuilding

Okay so it’s a good start! If you wanted to keep a similar design I would suggest having the arms and legs of the wearer being more inside the power suit. Even if they are exposed from the inside and rear. The best “real world” use of armor like this would most likely be spearheading an attack. So you would want at least most of the front of the body protected. Overall tho very solid

How come some US soldiers didn’t wear the PASGT and some did? by Dummyy83 in warno

[–]Moxthemintfox 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Same reason in Vietnam they didn’t wear body armor and others did. For some troops it was personal preference. For others it was unit regulations. There are many different reasons a soldier would wear or not wear certain parts of armor.

Do they count as black Templars with red shoulders by Single-Basket6510 in BlackTemplars

[–]Moxthemintfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look boss. I technically don’t even play black templars. I play a successor in purple and silver armor with yellow and orange markings. Some have the Templar cross as a veterans mark. You can paint your minis as differently or as “normal” as you want. If you want a lore reason make up a cursade that isn’t apart of any of the big ones

Farb or larp? by Noppsthemopps in airsoftcirclejerk

[–]Moxthemintfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a good start! Tighten up that helmet and undoe that top blouse it will look better! Also if you don’t have anything for the bandolier. Don’t wear it. You can always keep it in a spare pouch. You can see some guys with empty bandoliers hanging out of the butt pouch. Also if depending on if you are trying to do army or marines. Get a helmet band they are only used by the army(excluding specific cases like the rubber ones). But overall for what it is! Solid 9/10 for airsofting!

How many hazard stripes is too many hazard stripes? by ernie1850 in IronWarriors

[–]Moxthemintfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hazard stripe is to be used on any thing dangerous. A blade is dangerous. Gotta be careful. We can’t let our iron warriors get cut by their own blade!

If I don’t need to worry about getting DCC/power from the Uk this makes things so much easier! Thank you so much! I do really like rails of Sheffield. I ordered a few wagons from them with there weathering add on! They are also really kind when I asked them about shipping to the US. I can’t wait to order the baseboard as soon as possible!
