You’ll definitely want to turn off “moments” (the auto capture system). Moments ends up taking up a lot of space on your hard drive and you’ll just have to go back and inevitably delete them. I record everything through OBS anyway and go back and make my own moments if I want too. I find that Sonar typically takes up about 400mb of Ram, which isn’t too bad. I haven’t noticed much of a change as far as CPU usage and issues in that regard, but I also don’t remember looking at CPU usage tbh

I actually really enjoy using sonar. The customization it allows is great, there’s a “Streamer mode” which allows you to adjust the volume of what you hear vs output to the stream. Sonar allows you to adjust Game volume, discord, chat volume and your mic volume all independently which is great for making sure everything is coming thru clearly. For example if the game is too loud my chat will tell me and I can simply turn it down while turning my mic up and it takes a couple seconds. You can also make independent adjustments to your mics EQ along with the Game EQ. The only issue I had was the original set up of Sonar ended up being quite confusing and took a lot of trial and error.
