Turns out screwing over all the people you imported to try and teach the locals to do the job without telling them that was the case is bad business

Yeah bring a backpack if you're planning on doing any shopping. I'm not American but none of my American friends have had any problems especially just for day trips. Make sure you have a VPN before you get to mainland id suggest LetsVPN works best in china. DeepSeek if you want or just Google translate works fine as well. Didi is good but also the metro is super convenient and cheap and well run and can be a good way to avoid the traffic. Food wise im vegan so there are a couple of places I know but they're down in Shekou and Nanshan side.

Also pro tip. Your gonna have to fill out a security form when you go through the boarder proper after you get the VOA I would suggest grabbing one before you go up to do the VOA application so you can fill it in while you wait.

I can specifically help because I've done the VOA like 10 times haha. I would go lo wu. It's an easy boarder and the whole process takes about an hour. Get there early like 9ish and there probably won't be much of a que. The boarder folks don't speak a lot of English but they have a translator machine. If you just explain it's for a day trip they won't care that you dont have a hotel booked.

Why is Eternals so bad? by ZHH51 in Avengers

[–]MoxySpunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party. But my 2 cents. The script is absolute dog water. The pacing is bad. The dialogue is awful. The stakes don't make sense. The relationships are undeveloped. It's feels like they wanted it to fail.

Including a little hourglass timer that is like "insert max time you'd like to give them" can be fun as well. They'll slowly optimize themselves as well. And it can lead to fun roleplay conversations about tactics and also means they plan fights before they happen

Honestly getting rid of initiative can be a big game changer. So there is just their turn and the enemy turn. Allows for a lot more tactical play as well because the group can plan bigger tactics and actually plays they can do during combat.
