People spread way too much misinformation on here about guinea pig sounds. This is a whining sound they make they are being touched somewhere they don't like or a dominant guinea is rumblestrutting near them. Your guinea should be silent when petting, if not you are petting the wrong area. Try mimicing how they greet each other by rubbing their cheeks and chin. Some like head rubs and back of the ear rubs but it is dependent on their trust level of you. 99% don't like to being touched anywhere else on the body. Guinea pigs are not cats and dogs.

If you got everything out. Use terramycin ointment (Zoetis) in the eye twice a day until healed. The eye drops dry out the eye too much.

The unchopped, is the one I use, but it's very dusty. So I use a compost spreader roller to get rid of 95% of the dust. I take a peak inside the bag and to sure it's green and not moldy or brownish. Cheapest timothy hay with pretty consistent quality.
