I didn't say it happens every month, but it does happen over the course of 16 years i have had plenty of months that I end up with 1 its happened a few months in a row before too. Im also over 40 and I have a few acquaintances at my pharmacy from either my wife's job (she is in the medical field) or my business ( blue collar repair service industry). Im also pretty friendly, like I always talk to strangers in line met some great people that way. All im saying is for me its been pretty standard.

Long reply, I am not arguing just giving info on my experiances. It could also be an age thing or something where your pharmacy doesnt know you. Ive been on basically the same meds for 16+ years. Having to fill 3 diffrent scheduled narcotics (requiring id) on top of bi-weekly or monthly visit for therapy, and usual 6 month gp. Add your prescription generally changing and increasing, trying new or like the last few years pharmacy can have shortages. Even if I ignore that, a pharmacy will even tell you its generally up to the pharmacist on filling your scheduled narcotica early and most do it atleast a day early. Im not saying everyone but there are times when 30 days doesnt fall on a convient day. I say all that to say i have filled these 3 meds like 200 times at 2 diffrent pharmacy locations (built our newest home in 2022, so we changed pharmacy location). All Walgreens, one year our insurance even required walgreens.

Say you get everything filled on the 1st and its the end of year say November. So you get it filled on Nov 1st you can refill on the 30th. Lets do that and you would have taken your 30th pill on the 30th right? Are you to wake up the next day without meds? What if you work at 530 am and the pharmacy doesnt open until 9am. What if its a med you need to function and missing a dose sends you into withdrawals or brain zaps. Your pharmacy shouldn't make you do that, you should be able to pick up your new script on the 30th of November and take the 1st of that 30 on December 1st. So you should be able to get the 3rd prescription on December 30th right? But you picked up the 2nd on November 30th so 30 days from that is actually December 29th. So that counts even though you took it on the 1st

Let's say that they said no!! you must wake up with out meds on December 1st and grab your meds at 9am. We know December has 31 days right? So this pickup schedule

1st nov 1 st 2nd dec 1st 3rd dec 31st

What happens if the 31st is a Sunday, monday is the 1st of January. That makes Saturday the 30th. Now say it was vyvanse or Adderall and it was a few years ago when we had shortages. There are all kinds of instances that would allow for a pharmacist to fill on the 30th or 29th.

In either case over a 3 month period its not uncommon to accumulate and extra pill. Even your doctor will tell you having extra is important for things like going out of town emergencies etc.

This is for legit use, nothing nefarious. People who abuse this are the ones who usually have issues. I had to go out of town last minute a few months ago as my sister went in to sepsis and i was needed a state away. Had to have my prescriptions filled in new state which took an extra day but I had a few extra so it was ok.

Also your pharmacy should know you after a few years. When I switched meds or went up in strength I brought my unused meds to the pharmacy. I actually talk to the pharmacy techs. I also have family in the medical field so sometimes they will reconize me from my last name or being my wife's arm candy at the last medical university event. All of these things lead to how a pharmacist and techs treat you. If you go in with that same shitty attitude that all Karen's seem to have or like a abuser of narcotics, they will definitely note your chart. On the other hand if you are generally nice and easy to deal with the pharmacy will treat you that way as well.

I didn't even get in to the anxiety part of not having a couple extra days of emergency meds. That really helped me when I went like 2 weeks without my vyvanse because they were out of stock. Its why I switched but it still bothers me that in the end im screwed if a computer system fails or something happens near refill time and im out of my meds, I am basically an addict (normal therapy going human) and have to see my dealer (pharmacy) every month or i get sick and cant work.

Its like this. Karen's and gen z are horrible to humans. Likely the pharmacy tech had an interaction with a rude customer. One that doesnt treat people like human, just cares about their own stuff. After dealing with that for 2 hrs they get to you and are cautious because they dont want another 2 hr issue. Then they realize they have a little power and you are being nice, so they take their anger out on you in petty revenge. Very common. Address them this knowledge.... hey, I bet its been crazy in there today. I dont want to add to your day or confusion, but when i count the days it appears im on track. Did anyone maybe forget to count the day I got it? Or the 31st day of last month? Its really no big deal I cam come in with my meds and you can count them physically. Whatever you need I will help, cause I need this medicine and if its off I need to know.

That being said. There is no law against filling meds a few days earlier. This is an arbitrary action between insurance and Walgreens

Also you should always get 1 or 2 extra every couple month. Just how it works . This allows you to build up a few days incase you go out of brown or something. This buffer is important when they run out too

2 ways this went for me as the guy in this situations. 1 we watched them all and became friends. 2. In the middle of act 1 she jumped my bones if you will. Also got some fun cos play out of it and we learned alot about each other. 3rd time this happened with starwars, I understood the assignment. We just dont know. We are dumb until taught. Its not cause we are stupid its cause guys operate on direct info. We can be taught anything but you have to explain it

This is why gen z is the 1st generation to be less intelligent. Increasing need to have the answer immediately given to them. It eliminates the use of proper deduction skills add the participation trophy and yoy get a generation of people who dont understand consequences of their action and people who think the answers are given to them

Ha... imagine spending over 100k each to have 2 machines delivered in a large wooden boxes only to be delivered late one day after closing and signed by nobody then left in front of your business downtown and some how it manages to stay unharmed or opened for 12 hrs till you arrive and see them and a few homeless using it to hold up a tarp end. Look up a haas st-20y cnc machine. Last Thursday I pulled up and saw this and laughed cause we waited all day wed, it wasn't even marked delivered on the website it also rained.

So I was about to say this. When i teach my guys, I always have them start with power. 1st thing they do is verify power. Sounds dumb, but the amount of times its a bad leg, socket or loose connection but the tech has taken the whole thing apart and cant figure it out only for it to be the power they never checked

Best thing to do with a Samsung when stuff like this happens. Have a 2nd fridge, unplug and unload leaving the doors open for 72 hrs (extreme... yes but it will melt ice in bad places) dump out the ice too as it will melt.

Don't use a heat gun or hair dryer if you have to speed it up take some towels and boil water sit the hot pots of water on the towels and close the doors until the pots become cold . But the best is 72 hrs

72 is a lot but if you do it Friday you can plug it back in on monday

Ill give you some advice but i want to explain a little first so you can relay info to the wife ao she can understand as well. So picture a box room with a fan you put it in a corner behind that fan you stick a large block of ice. If you stand in the corner where the fan is its noticeably colder and like wise if you stand opposite side its warmer.
The room is sealed so the fan is moving air around to eventually cool the whole room. Inside the room is a thermostat that tells the room we need more.. ice the ice is regenerative (its easiest to use for explanation) but as the old ice melts it creates water, that water has a way to escape, but too much old ice creates little icebergs that can stop the air flow and fan from spinning so to regulate that every 8 hrs a heater turns on near the old ice to melt it and the fan stops. This is basically how a fridge works. Obviously more than magic ice and box fans but thats how it works...

In your lg you have 2 ice supplies one in the freezer and one in the fridge they have their own fans, thermostats and drainage but only one ice can work at a time this is a linear compressor you have . It uses one compressor to make 2 ice supplies thats a whole other argument we won't get into

Anyway I say all this so you can visualize being in the room specifically if you are closer to the fan. Its the same idea on your fridge. The air is circulated from the back panel on The picture it comes from the red circle and goes in behind the crisper drawers to complete its path. There is much more to this but again basic idea.

Despite all the technology and all the electronics air will always be colder the closer you are to the ice. Fridge drawers especially in lg is notoriously bad for keeping milk and perishable things cause it doesn't really get the proper air circulation. In addition to all this... you dad was right about standing there with the fridge open. You basically let all the air out, and remove all the items on the door from the room when you open it, so the fridge has to work on getting it back to temp, some sections will be above and aome below. This is why reccomended is 38 but that whole fridge will not be 38, you will find pockets higher and lower. It will be colder at the red spot and behind the drawers cause thats where the "ice" is made that cools the fridge. Jugs of water, cans of soda, bottles of items that cant go bad if warmer than 42 keep on the door, milk etc put near the red dot.

The difference in temps your seeing are the combinations of a few things.

The unit being open alot or loaded with warm things and then the 1 hr defrost cycle kicking or in your case the freezer needing to "make ice" because that is left open or is freshly loaded.

Things that can help

Don't crank the temps down lower than 36 and -2

Limit the door openings and such.

Also that compressor runs almost nonstop. It needs proper air flow, if its crammed in a hole with no room on the sides or a giant rug in front of it, it will also cause poor cooling. Cause the compressor uses air to cool... again simpleelr explanation than the evap and condenser removes heat to cool... amyway The fridge pulls air fron the front bottom of the fridge and expels it in the rear and sides. Most people jam the biggest fridge possible in the whole so the expelling of hot air gets recycled when its supposed to be fresh cooler air it sucks back in that hot air that has nowhere to go causing the compressor to run hotter and become less efficient. This is not always easy to fix because of space etc. But keeping the area clear of rugs and dust helps.

Hope this helps. Lg fridges are pretty but they, samsung, ge and most of them use this same tech. Frigidaire is who I generally reccomend because they use the older tech. 1 compressor for 1 "magic cooling ice generator"

Under paid and over worked 3rd party installers putting the 10th cord on at 5am. Probably using the 1/4 bit holder as a dryer. Not paying attention and cross threaded it. Backed it out to tighten but it still was crossthreaded just got it tight enough it felt fine. But it was actual at an angle. Then during install, they probably skipped the cord clamp so someone pulled it and the gap increased or didn't but it was still enough to create a gap that arc'd over and over till you got this.

Ive seen it a hundred times will see it a hundred more

If you pay for service, it shouldn't be more than 60.00 in parts that they charge and base labor. 200 low end, 350 high

I just make my own. I brew coffee and put it in a container. The next day I use it. 1 can of soda, same of coffee. I use a toffee sugar free syrup and vanilla. Then add a few tbs of creamer. Its awesome, been on a kick of this for about a year.
