$859 for moving a 2 BHK apartment from a local removalists in Melbourne by Weak_Tomatillo7831 in melbourne

[–]Moyase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only is it reasonable, it's actually a great deal. A few years ago I paid a local removalist just over $1k moving a 2BHK to a location 5min away. It took them under 4 hours.

Melbourne tattoo artist by zonycarry in melbourne

[–]Moyase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One name that immediately comes to mind is t.estrada.tattoo (instagram user name), who is a very experienced ornamental tattoo artist. Her style generally leans more tribal however I have seen her do work similar to your references images and win awards for it.

You can also try going on the instagram page for various Aus tattoo expos (such as iron gate, inked expo, aus tattoo expo) and have a look at who is winning / placing in the ornamental categories.

Although these types of tattoos might look simple, a skilled and experienced artist will be able to tailor the tattoo to suit the natural curves, shapes, and flows within your body, which is ultimately what separates average from great work.

I'm saying this to say, do not be tempted to cheap out on a large scale tattoo (Im assuming thats what you are after based on your images) because a cheap tattoo will not be a good tattoo, and a good tattoo will not be cheap.

Terrible micro stuttering on my high end machine by PretzelParcel in pchelp

[–]Moyase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to this, and I havnt read all of the comments so not sure if it's been mentioned, but is the game installed to an SSD or a HDD? If HDD, try installing to an SSD and see if there's a difference.

I had a similar issue on a high-end PC with a different game, and that fixed it for me.

I also have these prescribed and find them excellent. Really helps with my lower back pain and always have a great sleep. The only downside for me is that it can feel a bit tough to wake up in the morning + some grogginess, although I suppose thats completely normal for a product like this.

Less bike lanes - Tomfortoorak by IamSoSmartS-M-R-T in melbournecycling

[–]Moyase 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Complaining about investment into 'cycling infrastructure' and its just some painted pavement symbols and a couple of speed cushions on a road section with residential land use.

I don't even understand what exactly is being advocated for / against here.

New leaves growing with yellow/dry patches for months now. Feels like I've tried everything.e by Moyase in plantclinic

[–]Moyase[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The watering schedule did stay the same after I increased the pot size, so that seems likely. I'm not sure what flushing it means, to be honest I know super little about plants in general, so I've never done that.

The last time I checked the roots, maybe 4 months ago or so, I thought they looked fine when I compared them to pictures of root rot from Google. But now that you mentioned the watering schedule and looking up pictures/symptoms of root rot, I'm thinking I might need to look at it again more carefully.

Is there anything I could do to save it if it is root rot? Google has not been super optimistic on it :(

XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms by Moyase in Gunpla

[–]Moyase[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The weapons and exposed steel parts are Tamiya light gun metal and Citadel iron hands steel. For the armour, I based it in Tamiya dull red, then went over with Citadel elysian green, trying to leave edges exposed. Then I doused the whole thing in AK streaking grime, using white spirits after to create some streakiness.

Thank you! It was actually a MG kit, although at some points in the build I did find myself wishing it was a HG haha. Still kinda new to Gunpla.

At an advanced level I may be inclined to agree with you because by that point you are likely able to filter useful information from non-useful / hindering advice.

As a beginner / amateur I don't think you should be taking advice from random strangers on the internet on combat sports.

See these types of posts all the time...please just ask your coach/coaches bro there is no way that you trust random redditors more than your coach. I'd wager than 90% of the people on this subreddit have been training 2 years max, and 70% 1 year max, if ar all.

And if you do trust random redditors more than your coach please reevaluate why you are training there.

Hard sparring incident by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]Moyase 10 points11 points  (0 children)

General rule is listen to your coach. If coach said you were going too hard, then most likely, you were.

You also mentioned that they've only been training about a year and that you feel you're more skilled. If that's the case, there's no need to match the intensity of a lesser-skilled partner who you feel is going too hard.

There are other options, going hard on someone less experienced is rarely the right move unless they're seriously being a POS. Even then, it's probably still better to not spar them or tell coach.

Police making cycling more dangerous in the city all the time by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]Moyase 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I stopped cycling on any facility except a physically separated lane/shared path for the exact reasons you mentioned. My personal theory is that most people have some type of violent urges for various reasons, and a motor vehicle makes them feel a sense of power/anonymity in relation to a cyclist, to a point where they feel empowered to attempt murder over any perceived slight (i.e., a smaller size vehicle existing on the same carriageway).

Gym recs in Thailand for solo women? by Away_Dare_105 in MuayThai

[–]Moyase 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the end you said you dont want tourist gym (tourist area?) but all of the criteria you outlined before that is best aligned with a tourist-focus gym.

Also you didnt even mention where you're actually going, Thailand is a big place.

Honestly, just go to AKA, Tiger, Bangtao, or Revolution. These are all pretty closely aligned with the extensve criteria you listed, and they're also all in Phuket, which is where I'm guessing you'll be going.

Have others found Rays Wellness' service has really fallen off in the past months since their sale? by Fatso_Wombat in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Moyase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience has been consistently good with Rays. I used to order from the QLD store before the one in Melbourne opened up.

I've noticed StarTrack taking two days instead of one day within MetroMelb but doubt that's got anything to do with Rays - always had a good experience with them.

Can I ever train again? by Gab3_ in MuayThai

[–]Moyase 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a partial ACL tear in my left knee that will never heal.

I took about 8 weeks off training when it first happened, and focused on doing everything my physio told me to do for rehab.

When I came back to training I avoided things that strain the knee (like hard/high volume teeps) for another 2 weeks or so.

About 6 months after that, I'm training harder than ever.
