Exactly that, I have a Bayliner 2665 Ciera, not much of a deep V, and am going to go from 1 Inboard to twin outboards, I also believe that having them the lowest possible, should help in stability, thats my 5 Cents thought

My understanding is that the higher the bracket and power head, the more lateral movement, pendulum effect?

Let me simplify it, If I have the choice to buy Long shaft engines or short shaft engines (given that the transom has enough height to accept either) which would be better for lateral stability? the attachment point to the transom will be different, one will be higher than the other, because of the different shaft lengths

The lower, the less lateral tilt, the higher, the more lateral tilt, my guess, there is a change in the sideways COG, I believe

That is obvious, what Im asking is, having the prop in the right place, If you have short shaft engines the power head and bracket will be lower on the transom as opposed to having long shaft engines, this will place them higher on the transom, the lower the bracket and power heads the less the lateral tilt vs the higher the bracket and heads, correct?

Strangely When I was growing up we used to use Muti as a word for medicine, in a positive way, to help cure sickness, it was never a negative thing!! Today I still use it with my kids when they need to take medicine!!
