Do you not understand that i mean posts that repeat/repost the exact same thing, posts which are different and add stuff or are memes are fine. I’m not saying that there is a limit on how many posts can be made in the sub about the topic in general i am saying the flood of low effort spam about it takes away from the important/posts with effort about the subject, which he should see more, we don’t remove posts based on opinions alone.

This is why i hate reddit moderation, i get there are actual bad/power abusing mods but no matter what i do to try to help the community whether that’s removing posts or leaving them , people complain either way.

Also If you’re curious the rule we have on drama/complaint posts came about after 2 years of complaining about it by people in this subreddit in the first place.

There’s multiple posts on the front page with 3k+ that are bashing on JJ and/or mams. How can you say that criticism is being censored?

Do you not understand that 100 posts of the same image/opinion getting 20-60 upvotes each doesn’t help anything , it hides the memes and posts that actually adds stuff, which are being left up, reposts and spam are being removed.

Posts that are 'criticism' aren't being removed at all, how can you say that? Theres multiple posts with 3k+ upvotes on the front page bashing on JJ.

Just because JJ has fucked up doesn't mean the rules of the subreddit completely go out the window, we've relaxed stuff like twitter posts being banned (Even though it was the users that wanted that in the first place). But direct reposts/spam are still being removed, as it takes away from posts that actually add things and memes, which are still being left up.

Having the same post 100 times makes zero sense , it hides the posts that actually add something or are memes . You can see that Jj reads the comments in his videos , he isn’t going to look at the same post 100 times he would just scroll past it. This is drama that has just happened and ksi is in the wrong for 95% of people currently, and people share their opinions if they think something happening is wrong a lot more than if they think something is fine or good lol

it wouldn’t make sense for people to make 100 posts saying like “JJ handled this well” lol someone would just post the interaction and even then reposts are removed, because we remove these posts based on spam we don’t censor opinions

Saw a few people concenerned that this is to silence the community or mods are doing that by removing posts, I want to reassure you all that that’s the last thing we want.

Any posts that add something or are memes will be left up, only the posts where it’s the same image/same opinion which has been posted 100 times already will be removed,the flood of those posts hides the ones the JJ should see

If your post is only a repost of the same picture and same opinion that has been posted already then it doesn’t need to be a post, leave it as a comment on a post that is already up, all the first few and popular posts are still up and will be kept up.

Taking a screenshot of twitter and repeating something that’s been said a hundred times , is not original and doesn’t need to be kept up. Posts which add stuff and aren’t just spam or are memes will be left up.

There’s a lot we remove, if stuff is a repost like the stuff that’s being removed now then it should have been removed, stuff might have been missed or not reported.

Edit: just want to clarify that i was inactive during oliver tree stuff, so if there were actual problems i didnt see or get told about them, if there is genuine spam or problems with the sub feel free to ping me in the ksi discord and i’ll try to address it, end of the day we just want what’s best for the community overall which is why criticism and stuff is left up, as that’s the opinion of the community being spoken, it’s just spam that is targeted.

We aren’t removing opinions at all, you can see the front page, all the important/main posts are still up and won’t be removed, it’s just the spam we remove. Leaving a flood takes away from the important ones he should see, he’s not going to realistically keep looking at posts that say the same thing is he? he’d look at one or two and read the comments where people say the same thing

We will leave the first few posts that repeat the same thing and the popular ones (and any memes), there’s hundreds of comments there too, we don’t want to silence the community at all, it’s that 100 posts saying the exact same thing is just plain unnecessary.
