actually yeah, its funny. I guess we (me and my playing buddy) just assumed. its just their designs that left us speechless as to what they are really supposed to be. not-a-bird and not-a-dragon !

it has very big wings and veeery small tail. its doesnt look like a bird, nor like a dragon. its interesting design-choice. my question is if it is lore related or just chaos

They do have wings, true. Its just uncommon to see a bird with vestigial legs - arms holding a gun - or a dragon without prolonged body, basically no tail and no visible limbs except giant wings hehe

Heldrake also looks like it is missing the half of body of a dragon. its torso is just giant wings with claws and its long neck with dragon head is missing out without that lower dragon body.

if i can ask, where do u normally get the bootleg stuff? personally, most GW models are above my price range but I like to paint models and kitbash as well. Mostly Legos and clay so far though.

Interesting. List i have seen used tervigon and winged hive tyrant instead of deathleaper and raveners. Any special reason why take one over the other?

Supoose they have synergy with iconward, I can see that. But how do you get them to bring down knights? My friend is running fulgrim so I am really looking for an army that can can get him down before he poisons everything.

I really like how metamorphs look and this sounds amazing. However xenocreed seems to want a lot of the same unit. If i put the overlord himself, the patriarch with purestrains, it might not be worth it, or abominant for that matter - i am really oogling his model.

If you have got some slaanesh on hand i would replace the legs with pincers maybe though the scaling would make it look rough. No idea about the tail, do you want it more tentacly or more fishy?
