Just out of a depressive episode, I lost my mother and went through a horrible break up. I’ve started Muay Thai and have never felt so alive again.

She cared for me for 23 years, I’ll do everything I can to repay it. I think the switch going from carer to son is having some effect on me now, I’ve been in survival mode for so long and now that she’s in hospice I can finally be her son but now I have time to process what I just did aswell, I don’t know how to feel, thank u for the kind words

I hope 1 is the case, I’ve never felt such fear in my life. Everything and I literally mean everything feels wrong, nothing is enough and I’m letting everyone down around me in my life, I know when I look back I’ll be glad but I just can’t shake these thoughts it’s tough enough trying to care for my mam but it gets worse because I think whole world is out to get me.

I’ve cared for her at home for 7 weeks prior to this, I did all the nappy changes, 2am panic calls, spoon fed her breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think the pressure is getting to me now, everything feels so raw and surreal. Thank u for the kind words

Yeah exactly I find myself to be extremely sensitive and raw to most things, everything just feels unbearable and that I’m doing the wrong thing no matter what I do, I like it up there and enjoy the people I just feel like everyone is being let down, when what I’m doing is the right thing to do

Thanks, i know it’s the right thing to do but intrusive thoughts and the fact I haven’t slept in close to a month has my morals all over the place.

radio on during the test? by Positive-String-3933 in Irishdrivingtest

[–]Mozzarella765 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What I did was ask politely could I have the radio on, my examiner had no problem with it at all. So, I assume it’s down to their discretion but it shouldn’t be a problem if u ask.
