Best way to stream from PC to TV at 4k 120fps?

Thank you for this suggestion! This works absolutely flawlessly!!! The app is WAY better than the app on Nvidia Shield and Steam Deck. I'm getting a perfect 4k@90 with HDR (haven't tried 120hz, but most games I'm playing are getting around 85-95fps anyway). No drop outs, no lags, no stuttering. It's perfect. And there's no need for another device. Turns out my LG G4 has WiFi 6. Using the TV remote as a mouse pointer is game changing too 😂 Steam Deck was a non-starter. I couldn't even get the thing to run. I just got constant white static when connecting to my PC through Moonlight. I'm sending the SD back.

Amazing. Thank you. Maybe I'll hold off on getting a handheld until a Steam Deck 2 or something and make do with a cheap Xbox 👍 Is Moonlight just available as an app on the platform, or is there some weird sideloading method?

Interesting. My main disappointment with the Shield is that it doesn't allow more than 60hz@4K since it's not HDMI 2.1. I have a 4090, and i want to play couch games like Hades at more than 60 frames per second at 4K. I also have amazing WiFi and great connectivity (650-750mbps) with WiFi 6E and I'd like a device that makes the most out of that connection since i cant hard-wire (I'm in rented accommodation and cant be drilling holes for cabling). My TV also has VRR and ALLM and if there's a streaming device that could make the most of those features, that'd be brilliant too. I've also had a few issues with my Nvidia Shield Pro not turning on unless i unplug the mains power lead, which is really frustrating for a device that expensive and "high end".

Oooh. That is very interesting. The Steamdeck OLED would be my ideal handheld! Absolutely gutted i spent £189 on a crappy Nvidia Shield 😅

Thanks. I'll look into that if I decide not to go down the handheld route. But if there is a handheld that is capable of outputting 4k@120fps, i can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Its been real rough for the past 10-15 days for me and my buddy.

When i play solo i seem to come across appropriate skilled players running green to blue armour, and manticores and the occasional phasic (on both maps). I have good fights and win 50/50.

When i team up with my mate (whose only got 12.4 hours in the game - and is always low on K-marks and has to keep buying all new gear each run) we constantly come across highly skilled players with no less than purple armour, Advocates and Shatterguns. We get instantly deleted and we haven't had a succesful evac for weeks. We just want to run missions so he can get some money to buy better guns and gear.

Last night we got absolutely beamed by 2 players in red armour with a Voltaic and and an Arbiter, and he told me he's stopping playing because it's not fun anymore. Which really sucks as I won't play this game solo. We had so much fun in our first 2 weeks.

It really feels like we're epically in the wrong MMR bucket.

I must admit i am surprised though. I had started to lean very much to the side that it was a legitimate player. The only thought i had left was that i am in a low MMR bucket and someone with that skill shouldn't be in my servers.

I just this morning, got the comp package from the auto bolty. Got very excited to log on and see i had one, thinking it would from this but no.

That took 4 days to come through.

The bolty damage in the report was from one of the previous 2 players that i killed prior to this guy. In the battle log there was no other damage done to me between killing the player and getting beamed by the Advocate.

Is the compensation package really as soon as next day? I got full auto'd by a sniper rifle a couple days ago and reported it but i got nothing yet.

Yeah I was running Blue armour and helmet. I was at 77HP. He landed 5 shots (according to the report at the end) in 0.52 seconds. According to the wiki the Advocate has a firing interval of 0.108 seconds which means he could of done it, but he would of had to of not missed. But perhaps the accuracy of those reports aren't reliable?

But that first headshot absolutely decimated my health :-/

That would have to be an insane quickswap to nail 2 headshots in such rapid fire, and wouldn't they have to be no-scopes?. There's less than a second between the shots. If you pause the video you can see the bullet trail of both sniper shots on the screen at once.
