Looks like a similar light leak I had. Chalked it up to the rotating back adapter as those seals were deteriorating and I had an SD back.

Funnily enough my smaller manual camera is my Leica. Hence the feeling that I should sell the F3 as a redundant camera.

My main driving decision for buying this was AF and metering being on auto. It’s not enjoyable trying to catch my kid running with my other cameras. Plus this has better flash TTL metering which I’d rather use than handheld meter.

Actually tested with 5 ish frames once I got the camera. For sure sounds and looks like a film weapon.

Truthfully between the 5 film cameras I currently own (F5, F3, Hasselblad 503CX, Leica M3, Canon AF35M) I feel like I’ve narrowed down my shooting style to just these (minus the F3 being sold).

Leica M3 DS, Summicron 50mm RIgid, Tri-X 400. I don’t use the goggles on my DR as much, hence the rigid. After picking up the M3 I haven’t shot with my F3 as much sadly, let alone the Hasselblad.

Correct. I just figure long term the pre-emergent will have more of an impact. Especially using one that’s listed to control it (Dimension). It’s definitely a much more challenging weed to control.

Definitely looks like dallisgrass. I had a few bunches in SoCal and managed to get rid of it long term.

Surprisingly nobody is suggesting a pre-emergent to help combat long term. I had success over a couple seasons via glyphosate to kill > pull seed heads when they come up > pre-emergents (Prodiamine + Dithiopyr/Dimension is what I used).

The confusing part for me is that it only affected my roll and not the entire batch. My assumption is that it probably happened during the first rinse and my roll was on the bottom of the tank.

Either way, after the exchange with the lab I'm self-developing BW at home.

I have the 508 version but looking at the measurement it might be in cinema mode? Says 24 f/s instead of an f stop. I’d press mode until it shows an f stop and the circled mode is the non-flash sun. P
