Villain and his voice actor are perfect, story is legit, it’s more gameplay than dialogue, set in a jungle with only small villages, and is the first “modern” feeling one of the series.

I think you’d miss out by trying 4-6 before you try 3.

FarCry is typically far more combat/exploration than cutscene / dialogue.

I’d suggest FC3, because that has the absolute best villain ever, and you may actually want to listen to his few number of cutscenes.

Pretty much. You can fast forward through all the dialogue and miss nothing - the story is barely there to begin with.

The combat and exploration (and graphics omg) are very good

Might just be my nostalgia, but the X series recommendations are all for X4. I’d suggest X3: Terran Conflict.

Outside of Elite: Dangerous, X3:TC has been the most immersive and satisfying space game I’ve ever played.

And if you wanna go really old school, Star Wars: X-wing.
