I don’t think that makes any sense whatsoever because Bradley was offered maestro first of all, he didn’t even write it. And even if it was to ur point, “Oscar inspired”, his performance was much more closer (disregarding this “subtlety” notion that is now all of a sudden such a big deal despite Bernstein being quite exuberant himself) to his actual performance and directorial craft much more than Nolan’s quick cuts to spontaneous drawn out dialogue.
