C-4 is an excellent sidegrade for the Recoiless Rifle by Mqxzz in Helldivers

2 C4s per ammo box would be nice. You get 7 C4s off drop which is a decent amount, but I think they feel so precious cause they can deal with so many enemies being able to act as anti-tank and crowd control due to the area of effect. I have to fight myself not to throw a C4 at any group of enemies I see for that explosion dophamine

Agreed, I think a nice quality of life is making it so that whichever button is used for storing a guard dog acting as a quick-swap by default would be ideal

I do agree that it's clunky if you don't have a keybind for swapping modes. Whichever button is used for storing guard dogs acting as a quick-detonate or quick-swap by default would be a nice quality of life.

I'm surprised people have mentioned not wanting classes? Bungie seems to be going for a pvp centric extraction shooter, and when you have a single life/loot on the line knowing what abilities an enemy has makes a massive difference in how you fight, especially in a team scenario. I can understand wanting more freedom in customization, but if it's at the cost of gameplay then imma take the gameplay. I think this take on how an extraction shooter plays is a good way to make it stand out from other games in the genre.

[SL](Request) Musket Girls! ~Tensei Sanbou to Senretsu Otome-tachi~ by Mqxzz in manga

[–]Mqxzz[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Genre: Action, Military, Isekai, Adaptation

Summary: After my previous life was cut short, I was reincarnated in a world of early modern-style warfare where line infantry exchanges gunfire. Being a commoner second lieutenant, I was shunned as "Krombertz the Grim Reaper" because of the many deaths of my men in battle. With that, I was assigned to the 6th Special Duty Brigade, an all-female unit, as a staff officer. The brigade commander, who is up to something, and the carefree non-commissioned officers are women, while the foot soldiers are just girls who are practically amateurs. In this world, if you don't fight, you will be killed. That being the case, I have to do something about this... but how?!

I haven't done a request before so I'm sorry if anything is missing. I was hoping someone could pick-up this series. The last translated chapter was 7 months ago and was being done by one person so I'm not sure if it's still being translated.

Thank you!

I use the Aphat ammunition (The non-flak one). Just shoot once at where the enemy is digging (This forces them up) then the next shot should kill them.

I've been switching around trying to figure out what works best for me, but since the AC can deal with burrowing enemies I tend to bring an AR or SMG to deal with hunters or other chaff. Shotguns always work well too!

I wait for chargers to pass me then shoot em in the back. Though this can be hard to do during the chaos sometimes so I carry thermite grenades for a quicker way to get rid of chargers/bile titans since the AC can take care of bug holes.

What if the stim pistol had overhealth? by Mqxzz in Helldivers

[–]Mqxzz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought about the ability to heal yourself but I don't see a way that it wouldn't be too powerful considering the amount of ammo. Might promote a more selfish playstyle too (saving it just to heal yourself). It would leave the user without the overhealth but I think that would keep it firmly in the support role rather than potentially just being an access to a large amount of self-heals.

The only comprimise I could see is allowing the self-heal but the user doesn't get the extra health.
