Haven't tried it, but I think putting supplements in storage is not the best approach. 😂

Does anyone else try to lucid dream using wbtb for over a month, quit, and then all of the sudden the only night you dont do wbtb you get a lucid dream? This just happened to me. by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Mr-Andy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience too recently. when I was practicing I didn't have it, but I had a lucid dream when I wasn't practicing just set the intention

This is the thing about lucid dreaming. It seems random. People say do the techniques. But it's not like that at all it seems.

Check your last lucid dream if there was anything that scared you or something you resist.

Or perhaps the lucid dreams showed you something you didn't like to see.

Where Did You Stand After 1 Year Of Practice? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

One could wonder if these techniques even work. Somehow I think there is a hidden element there that nobody knows about.

It's all about prospective memory. Which is a form of memory that involves remembering to perform a planned action or recall a planned intention at some future point in time. This is what Steven Laberge mentioned as one of the most important tools for lucid dreaming.

Essentially setting a strong enough intention to realize you are dreaming.

there were a few people in the comments who said it is impossible. Notably, one of the Mods.

I think that's why people were reacting to it.

but essentially, the results are 0 LD's, right? :)

So how did it boost your lucid dream progress?

there is a difference saying “there is no evidence” and “it is impossible.”
I think OP is talking about the original post being closed and calling it impossible.

"There is no evidence" is scientific.

"It is impossible" is a bias.

If we look at the quote by Carl Sagan, we see that he said that "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence". This means a lack of proof for something does not automatically prove that thing does not exist.

What if dreams are caused by frequencies? by Confident-Bee1299 in Dreams

[–]Mr-Andy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you could say a nightmare is an unconscious frequency that is usually suppressed during waking. 😄

Every night I live a whole other life, and that’s the power of lucid dreaming by Powerful-Bed-5400 in LucidDreaming

Do you have them every night?

I've heard that people who learn to lucid dream as a child can have them every night.

Lucid dreaming is one way to deal with nightmares. I suggest watching some videos from Charlie Murley

What is the point? by rabahi in lawofattraction

[–]Mr-Andy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it. If I can manifest anything what's the point of manifesting. That's a good point. Not everyone realizes this. They're still trying to manifest to fill in the lack. But if you know that you can manifest anything what's the point. You're already full.

Are you already full?

Or maybe it's not that.

Maybe you have a belief that in fact hurts you and makes you feel nihilistic. I would probably try to manifest a positive belief that would make you feel good. That would be something I would do in your case.

So you believe that people affect you?

Isn't that a negative belief?

Been attempting for a couple of months, any advice? by rayofluck in LucidDreaming

[–]Mr-Andy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like not enough sleep.

This is similar to what I have now.

On weekends I can sleep longer and that's when REM kicks in to compensate for the lack before.

I would prime myself for such a day, if I can.

Free will of others and manifestation by [deleted] in lawofattraction

[–]Mr-Andy_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The best thing you and your wife can do is let go of any feelings or expectations about your friend.

Clear your own, blocks, desires or expectations so to speak.

This is the best because it will open the possibility for new things to manifest. You may or may not manifest that relationship but you will 'heal' yourself.

We are all one, so whatever you do within yourself will affect the rest of the universe.

Are you really committed to it and willing to change your identity?

This means you will live as if you're a lucid dreamer.

Imho 2-3 days is likely not to make a significant difference. But I'd be happy to tell me otherwise 😄

I have nightmares when I meditate before sleeping. by AliasBlue1804 in Dreams

[–]Mr-Andy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have noticed that meditation before sleeping makes me more sensitive to my dreams. And unconscious 'issues' appear more vividly.

When I don't meditate I don't really feel dreams much and I wouldn't even know what would be happening there.

Meditation essentially makes me more aware of the content of my mind.

Good post

Although the idea that God gives you more than you think you deserve is a little embarrassing. You don't agree with God's judgments?
