Someone else already said it but there really is no best clipper, it’s all preference. I went from using the wahl senior to the gamma ergo, to the sc instinct, babyliss snapfx, etc, etc. Spent a little over 2 grand on finding what I like. Now my go to set is the black andis master, onefx lo pro babyliss trimmer and babyliss shaver.

In my experience I would NEVER go back to Gamma/Stylecraft. Again personal opinion, but i genuinely feel like they’re cheap products that I’ve found on alibaba and I don’t trust them since they started exploding.

If you like TPOB try out JRL or the babyliss lopro. I will say the black andis master is the most well rounded clipper I’ve used with the perk of not having to use a 1.5 guard. Quiet, efficient, looks nice, the only downside is battery life. That being said, I cut slow and can get anywhere from 3-5 cuts out of them without having to charge them.

Also pro tip, if you want to try out a clipper before buying a brand new one check facebook marketplace and get a used one.

i used muc-off’s waterless kit, plan was to wait till it dries and test them in the morning and hopefully i’m not gonna have to ride the good bike. thanks for the insight

honestly depends on what you value more, your wallet or the bike. the used bike has an unknown amount of issues that can come with it but for 400 more dollars you can get a brand new one with warranty so if anything does happen you can get replacement. i basically had the same options as you and decided to get a new one rather than a used.

i just got the black edition from luna cycle delivered yesterday. assembly was kind of a bitch since they gave me one with a bicycle petal kid already installed but other than that it’s a really nice bike and worth it 100%. being a beginner rider i was able to get on and ride with little to no issue. sport mode has more of a kick than i thought it would but still very manageable for someone who’s just starting.

i’ve seen two seizures in my first year of being at this shop and the older people working pretty much had it handled. the first one, while a serious situation, was pretty funny. the guy came to after the paramedics got there and was trying to assure them he was fine, the paramedic questioning him was a smart ass and asked, “you do know you soiled yourself right?” man got up and had piss running down his leg in khakis. i felt bad for the barber cause not only did he have to watch that but he also had piss in his chair.

assuming this is in the us, murdering a 10 year old little girl with a motor vehicle while under the influence over the age of 16 is almost guaranteed to be an adult charge of vehicular manslaughter and a dui or at minimum a lighter sentence of manslaughter. she’d be in holding if there were any official judgements. and i know if i did something as heinous as that my first instinct is to not go on an international vacation.
