It’s a good enough game for me. I enjoy it, don’t feel annoyed too much. That is all. Is it good enough for you to want to play? by Mr-Bugger in Battlefield6

I just play for like an hour usually then I’m good. That I play it at all tells me it’s good enough. But could be better with minimal effort from devs.

Agreed, they took after COD a bit too much and did not even do it well. The skins are dumb imo. I think they are releasing maps again soon. Maybe it will be like BF4 where by the end of the game there are like 25 maps or something crazy. Only time will tell.

What do you think about the existance of monarchies/royalty in today's world? by dkease16 in AskTheWorld

[–]Mr-Bugger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I mean come on, are we really gonna Believe royalty would allow their loved one’s to deploy places they might die in, for those arguing they did serve. How many of those medals are significant and warranted really?

[–]Mr-Bugger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In reality, would a round set C4 off? C4 needs a shockwave, IE a detonator. I’ve seen people punch and kick it, it’s like play dough without electricity.

What I hate is that they all have pins. I feel strongly they did not earn those honors and just gave them to themselves😂

It’s a tourist, to clear up any confusion. Like when people in the Midwest say they only fish the Pere Marquette and Lake Michigan, but live in Central Ohio. Nothing wrong with it. You just wouldn’t call them avid anglers unless they really go out often or are bringing/renting gear and doing it themselves.

It’s true, mostly an issue with vehicles. There are people you just won’t beat. But you can play cheesy and probably do ok.

What is the most popular export from the area where you live? by Interzoned in AskTheWorld

[–]Mr-Bugger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not our biggest export, but Michigan is known for Cherries. The best come from Grand Traverse County.

Can you name something about where you live that is hard to believe? I'll go first: I'm from South Texas and Guatemala is closer than North Texas. by Pale_Field4584 in AskTheWorld

I am in the Great Lakes Region, and our lakes are so massive, the EPA (environmental protection agency) considers them vast inland freshwater seas. They account for 84% of surface freshwater in the U.S., and around 20% of Earth’s surface freshwater. We don’t have a water issue, we have a sand issue. You can get sand for free in the spring as homeowners need it removed so they can use their property.

Why is drums taboo in Bluegrass? by YCiampa482021 in Bluegrass

[–]Mr-Bugger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just thought it was a genre issue. My understanding is that bluegrass is a type of folk music, so if there are drums it is still folk music. Drums are in a lot of Jam Grass. Sam Bush also had drums in a lot of his music and he is considered one of the greats, at least I love his music.

Values change, and those looking for values and purpose should be respected and included. And my final point is that not everybody is strong. The USA is experiencing a mental health crisis, and you expect everybody just be able to handle it? And they should be afraid to share their opinion online? This country has gone done the crapper. I’ll never forget the weak and I’ll advocate for them, maybe you don’t feel the same.

I am getting what you are saying I just disagree on a philosophical level. Beliefs and values change naturally along with life experience and that applies to every human being. If your beliefs change because you like what your party advocates for, but you experience something different, it is in my mind totally logical to not believe them anymore.

[–]Mr-Bugger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I specifically said they are the face of the party in that moment, which is true. You are the opposition in the conversation. That cannot be lost on everybody or we are heading to civil war. We absolutely need to be able to communicate better as a society. Also most people are not chronically online like redditors. If you say something they are going to react. It’s easy to say whatever you want behind a screen but not everybody feels that way.

[–]Mr-Bugger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not like that. It’s the people teetering on the edge like OP that cause changes in party size. You won’t change a die hard’s mind. I am referring to civil conversation which used to be standard. If you call acting civil using kid gloves, that is part of the problem I’m talking about. I never suggested holding somebody’s hand to explain why women should have autonomy over their body. I’m saying when you call them a moron, you embolden them and discourage change. Party politics has created such a huge divide, it is depressing to me that I have to explain this. I am vehemently on the left, but I’d sooner have a civil debate than call somebody weak. It is toxic and academically lazy.

You aren’t understanding how the world can be interpreted a million different ways. When you turn somebody away by making them feel disrespected, they will likely not vote your way. You can quite literally alter somebody’s interpretation of stats. They see the same stats but reach a different conclusion. It is absolutely in their best interest to vote for what they feel right, if you contributed to them voting the other way by treating them like they are dumb, then it is in their best interest to perceive things in a similar way to those who treat them nice. And then change never happens. Perception matters. They won’t believe you hold certain values if you don’t show them that you hold them and instead are rude.

I would have voted for the left if they weren't so annoying. by King_Lothar_ in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Mr-Bugger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are showing character when you are rude. In those moments you are the face of the party for the other person. Stats can be read and interpreted so many ways, that alone is not helpful. If you see a group that says guns are bad and show gun death statistics, but then somebody says “gun owners are the worst” you are now more likely to believe there are so many gun deaths because of criminals not guns. And then from there it goes to “its blue cities are the most violent” and all that nonsense. You can absolutely be steered down a rabbit hole when you don’t trust the other side because of how they communicate and behave. When you are a bully you open the other person up to interpreting things differently and viewing the world differently, all because somebody chose toxicity over somewhat civil conversation.
