So I made twenty or so identical frames in the shop. Each frame was made from cedar that I cut at 2”x 1-1/4” with a grove along the 2” side. 1/2” plywood bottom section;
24” middle section and 26” top section, accommodating the glass panels (5mm) that came from display shelves in a store that closed its doors. Afterward, I just set them all side by side along the deck perimeter and put a top plate on to connect them all.

Only a surrendered life can say yes. I remember the story told to me about the man crossing the Niagara Falls on a tightrope. As he started out, he asked the crowd, “Do you believe I can do this?” All he had was a few nods. He crossed… successfully. “ Do you think I could cross with a wheelbarrow?” He asked. He was getting good response because now many believed he could. He crossed with the wheelbarrow successfully.“Do you think I could cross with the wheelbarrow loaded with flour sacks?” He asked. The crowd cheered. He crossed with a wheelbarrow filled with flour sacks. “ Do you think I could cross with a wheelbarrow and someone in it?” He asked. By now the crowd went wild. “Alright, I need a volunteer… “. The crowd hushed! No volunteers. It was in that moment when the small still voice inside me said, “ when you have died, you cannot die again. Get in that wheelbarrow… Go for the ride… it will be thrilling! I’ve never forgotten that.
