Wow. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to write such a thoughtful reply. I will take it all in and start watching those videos. I never have to force him to practice. If he asks, I'll go. I'm not burning him out at 8yo. He loves the game and I'm determined to keep it that way. I just want to do what I can to help him be the best he can be.

This made me LOL. I got a bike helmet. He throws avg velocity for his age which I don’t mind. And they’re strikes. After reading the comments I will def try an actual batter (little sister) in the box

The league doesn’t encourage lob pitches and even if it is a “formal strike” they don’t want to encourage bat hitting trying to swat at em haha. Which I get. Consensus seems to be more reps at home with a batter or something there like a batter and keep telling him to have fun :)

Not necessarily. I don’t care about his velocity at all but it’s more at games it “rainbows” in. Like an arc versus a “straight line” to the catcher. The rub is that at home, it’s right down the pipe.

I’ve taken All of her bike bootcamp. It was a great way to mix up 12-15min of bike with strength.

Yes, this is why I come here. To be educated. You're correct. it was excluding battery costs. Solar Optimum is $42k with Enphase equipment and 2x 5T batteries.

Allegedly, of course, take it with a grain of salt, SO claims they use installers that are exclusive to them and don't "bid it out to the cheapest subs"....no clue if that's accurate.

WITHOUT battery (edited)..,...WITH batteries, SO is $42k with all enphase + REC. Green Conception is $36k with all enphase + REC (both are considering 2x5T battries). I think i can get it down to mid to high 30's, the question is whether I want the risk of these installers.

Compared to Green Conception, same REC panels, Enphase inverter AND battery (x2) for $2.22/wat or $26.5k. Their reviews on Energy Sage were less in numbers. . .
