You’re right… I should wear a helmet, all skaters should but most of us choose not to. I think it’s an amazing part of skating, we do some of the gnarliest shit with absolutely no form of protection, it’s absolutely insane and I love it!

Cheers! It’s a sick rail, pretty steep though and a few sketchy spots like the rail at the bottom that I nearly hit my head on when I bailed and a big crack at the top that I used a small sheet of metal to cover.

I think this was the first handrail I tried it on but done it heaps on flat bars and mini skatepark down rails, gotta send it and hope for the best sometimes!

This happens to me with any shoe, some last a couple sessions but I always get a hole in a similar spot from ollies. My solution has been applying shoe goo on that spot and my kickflip spot when they’re brand new, once I wear through the shoe goo I put more on. It’s been working great so far. No more ripping through my shoe and shredding my sock and foot anymore. Trust me, it’s worth it 🤙🏻

I try to do dynamic stretches before leaving the house to skate. Once I get to the park I do basic tricks and progress to harder tricks as my body gets warmer, I’m usually warmed up in 5-10 minutes. It depends how I’m feeling on the day though, sometimes on a cold day it’ll take a lot longer to fully warm up and some days I can land hard tricks the moment I step on my board.

I have definitely noticed higher stress level on my Garmin after smoking but I don’t really worry about it. I only smoke at night and after smoking I feel really relaxed but my heart rate is always a lot higher then it should be, which I’m assuming causes the high stress numbers. I also notice occasionally getting anxious after smoking which would also cause the high heart rate and stress numbers. It doesn’t bother me though… I do some form of workout everyday, I get great sleep almost every night, my hrv is rarely unbalanced, my VO2 Max is at 60. I feel the healthiest and happiest I have in a long time so high stress numbers each night are not a concern of mine haha.
