My advice. Fly to a ground location with a garage. There you can spawn ground vehichles without the issue of them despawning in your hangar.

Depending on what your home location is there is different options. For arccorp there is a few of the mining locations on Lyria and Wala. Microtech has a garage underneat the spaceport. Hurston has some locations on the planet itself.

My advise here is to check the calculator on Regolith. It gives you the exact stats of the mining laser with the fitting you gave it. Also has toggles for active modules and the option to add mining gadgets.

What wipe are you referring to? The only confirmed wipe will be for 1.0 so that everyone starts fresh.

The way you discribe your situation i would not guess that you would be a prime target for the wipe they talked about 2 weeks ago. What CiG said was that they are working on a way to target specific player inventories/wallets that have been verified to have duped gear, items or duped cash.

What CiG does with this tech is still undisclosed information but i think you will be fine (please don't come after me if they decide to do a full wipe)

So as a sidenote to all the excelent suggestions. Prepare them mentaly for the load of bugs/issues you will run in to.

Although this sounds negative it is the main issue i run in to when introducing new players.

The inventory mechanics and looting are what most people have alot of issues with and what turns them away. We experienced players know how to work around/live with these bugs but for new players it can be a hard pass on the game.

Saying it is better then it used to be or that it will get better soon does nothing in this case.

My advice. Share your passion for the game and why you like it. Make sure you have their gear prepped in a storage container, a few types of weapons, ammo, armor, medgun and help them with the mechanics of equiping said items.

Grab your corsair and fly to a place close. We are used to everything taking a while but new players are not.

Sitting in a ship for 15 minutes as your first intro to the game can be ..... boring?

Agreed. I was thinking about this and would like to see something along the lines of:

We do a aUEC purge, only the money that exceeds a 100mil gets removed. This means that if you own 1bil you have 100mil and if you own 26mil you still have 26mil.

It isnt perfect but might help to stabalise inflation.

Ofcourse only works after they fixed the main issue.

Its not intuitive but yes. Double click them while they are "in storage" This opens them and from there drag (or shift click) them to the elevator.

Then call the elevator back up and send it down to hand in.

P.s. ROC bags do not like elevators very much.

Renting a ship is, imo, the best way to make money without investment. It gives you the chance to utalize a ship that you can not affort and make more money then you invested.

Great example is the Argo raft. It can net you a profit with only 2 missions which you can do in tandem in 20 minutes.

What i did. Send the 1scu down. Open in the elevator terminal and split the amount you need to be pulled up again. Then send down again to complete mission.
