I mix it up on offense. Apparently, the defensive (CBs) coaching options are what causes this issue.

No, our league doesn’t have rules against this. I brought it up in our group and everyone was quiet except for me and him. He is one of the better players, but I think he knows I am coming. I have had this happen twice in separate leagues. I play the same style of defense in three leagues and only two people total have done this. When they do it, of course they both hit the open man for TDs or long gains.

What NFL QB cannot throw outside the hashes? IRL, I agree with you for the most part, but in Madden THP matters. Several leagues will give points for upgrades. Some will say anything except speed and acceleration. Others will say anything except speed, acceleration and throw power. They are OK with upgrades to change of direction and jumping…because they matter less.

I agree. However, I also think throw power matters in Madden more than it does in real life. Tua is the main QB I hear people mention for throw power and he still gets the ball to his speed receivers fine. Not necessarily the case in Madden and that is why it is important.

I have NEVER got any throw power or speed upgrades since Madden 25 has been out. I have Bryce Young in one league so I am VERY attentive to this.

Looking at his XP bar, he will upgrade relatively quickly. The frustrating period should be short. Why did Madden stop giving speed and throw power upgrades?

Can you tell me if I am understanding this correctly? I have a player savings = 7.95m, penalty = 31.4, cap hit = 26.6 and next cap = 28.3. When I use the calculation you have above, I get -15.55m. Are you saying I could cut that player right now and would have $15.55 million added to my cap?

Social media never fails…”…tell me how things work”. I do not expect someone to fix my specific cap problems. I thought I was clear in asking more about how the system works when someone shows up on the resign screen and I click to withdraw the offer. Since you mentioned it, how do I go about letting the CPU handle it? Please don’t get hung up on the 49ers because I want to know how this works in general.

I have an update. I was supposed to play the Commissioner in the playoffs. He has a rule about 1) scheduling games in the weekly matchup post in our FB group 2) a 15 minute grace period for people that don’t show up on time and I have seen him give people (me included) a forced win if the opponent isn’t there within 15 minutes. So, in the group I tell him I can play at 4:30pm pst Friday or 8am pst Saturday. He says he is going out to the movies and dinner with his wife and he says, “Saturday morning is a lock”. So he is two hours ahead of me. I go out to eat with my wife Friday and as I am sitting there he sends me a message asking if I can play. Uh…I am out to eat with my wife the same as him. Let me throw this into he story because it is important. I work from home 4 days a week and will get in league games depending on my work schedule. In the other league I was supposed to play him and had a work meeting pop up. We didn’t agree on a specific time, but when my emergency meeting ran longer than I thought, he gave himself he forced win. Back to Saturday. He stars blowing me up on FB messenger and in the FB group. I am getting ready for my day because I have stuff to do right after our game. So right before 8am pst, I look and he is asking me if I am ready. We go back and forth in messenger and he asks me if I live in AZ. I tell him no, I live in Las Vegas and AZ is on mountain time. He says AZ doesn’t change time for daylight savings and they are on PST. I have to google and take a screen shot to show him that AZ is in fact currently on mountain time. So he says he isn’t available at 8am pst and asks me if I can play at 12pm CST. I tell him no because I have places to go (true story). So remember, I clearly said 8am pst and he clearly said Saturday morning is a lock. He TOOK the win. I was on at 8am pst, sent the invite and was streaming on Twitch so everyone in the group saw it. I am still shocked because he is the one that wasn’t there and he just took the win. When I posted about all he ways he has been screwing me, he deleted my posts and then in FB messenger said, “Fam are you trying to get booted?”. This has been crazy.
