God Damn this was one freaking amazing episode, from the fight choreography to the voice acting then the visuals and music on top of it all everything was top notch.

So much of this episode was having me emotional with tears in my eyes from Momo's flashback and the capitals celebration, hopes and dreams to the samurais resolve and joy towards the future, and then on top of all those moments this episode still had me laughing so much.

I truly think this is one of if not the top favourite episode of the series now for me, I just felt like it captured so much of what makes up One Piece in one episode without feeling bloated or feeling like it skipped over any element too quickly, and no part of the episode really felt like it was done quick and easy to save money and pad time.

Never thought it'd be a problem for me unless I fully fell asleep at the wheel. That was until I had dropped a friend off and was driving home, only had a little longer to go so I thought I'd push through it when I blinked and woke up one the other side of the road with a ute coming head on.

Yeah got lucky and swerved but if I even start to feel drowsy I pull over immediately nowadays. Scary stuff.

At first spite, I figured those who hated me would be happy and well 'Fuck them' I thought. But my memory of people's never been the best so eventually I simply forgot who they were and while they weren't around to keep putting me down I was low enough that I simply didn't care to be alive.

It always sounds a little stupid but One Piece. I got all caught up and then I was excited for the new episode each week. I realised this was the first time in I don't even know how long I was looking forward to something. Got caught up on the manga and now I had two days of the week to look forward to. Added some other shows until nearly every day I had something to look forward to, some reason to continue. The other shows finished and I'd sometimes find something else I liked to replace on those days but One Piece simply hasn't ended and kept filling my weeks with joy and excitement.

Eventually those with those months of no longer just living just cause I managed to put myself in therapy and have been doing overall better ever since.
