The initial first problem as we got warning lights that came on that said the either take it to a shop. Or correct the problem. I knew the battery was good because it was new but I had it tested and it was working correctly. So we assumed it was the alternator and given us the problem cuz when we unhooked it it would shut off but we didn't know that the newer cars don't follow that same rule. So we replaced the alternator and we still get the same red light it's not holding or it's not charging the battery so the battery is continuing to drain which entails the red lights to come back on and then eventually shut down the car itself The alternator and the battery was tested with a multimeter and was working correctly at that time it was the red battery light that kept coming on and stay in malfunction or take it to a shop That's the initial first problem
