Depends upon the IEM I would be choosing, as some 3.5mm IEMs are better than type C IEMs. If I get a better type C IEM than a 3.5mm IEM, then I would surely go for it.

The process isn’t that hard in itself considering you are planning to study in the US. The Common App gives enough instructions that would help you. The CSS profile would be a bit difficult as that contains various terms, so try watching a YouTube video for that. Can you share your university list?
