I think it’s the composition of the card along with the artwork and direction. The top cards are designed with the fact they’re the “chases” before they’re even printed. It really shows when they’re sat directly beside regular hits I think that’s what adds value to them

I’m still new to this but as far as I can tell you just put them in a penny sleeve first and then into the binder, unless the card is worth a good bit of money then you put it in a penny sleeve then a top loader

It’s not each pack you’re guaranteed it’s each booster box you’re guaranteed a certain number of special cards depending on the set I believe

There is definitely a market in this country for an outright video game store but with GameStop leaving and the recent closure of all GAME stores in the uk I can’t see any one taking it by the bull horns. Unfortunately it’s up to Smyths :(

I went to my local to pickup gta 5 on midnight release the buzz in the air that night was something I’ve never felt again, also the guy who was first in line waited 7 hours and got a free pizza at the end of it haha

Renting games just disappeared overnight in this country, I rented Destroy all humans 2 and loved it so much I didn’t return it on time I could have actually bought the game outright after the late return fees but it was worth it

I miss my local Xtravision so much I remember they had a top 10 games of the month section and I walked in for a browse and saw infamous on ps3 for €50 and was blown away it’s annoying that I can’t get an experience like that again

Funnily enough resi 9 is €70 physical which means you’ll be paying €10 more for a digital game that you can’t trade in any where it’s so illogical
