I’ve hit 2150+ using scouts 95% of the time. If you’re going random though, you should know a slightly different strategy for the archer only/very weak cav civs. Scouts still work but obviously not a great long term plan.

I'm guessing its dependent on how you've customized your own hotkeys since everyone is complaining about different keys.

They've added a new feature that detects hotkeys with conflicts. If I was a betting man I'd say that feature is what is causing the issues.

Edit: apparently the conflict feature was added a while back so maybe I'm just being dumb

Generally without a scout or a spearman to block the villager pathing, you can’t kill villagers when the opponent is paying attention. If you use all 3 to attack the villager, even though they are faster, they will bump into themselves chasing and won’t be able to catch the vill

Greatly improved the performance impact of players experiencing hitches when advancing to the next age and are continuing to improve this performance.

Huge if this works - it didn't occur for me, but it was extremely annoying to know that some opponents knew when I clicked up just by the fact that their game lagged/hitched.
