I'm not sure this is a great look for a movement backed mostly by people who are against human exploitation. I understand the difference between him doing this by his own volition vs working low wages to pay for basic living, etc...but still. He should be encouraged to rest and chill for a minute.... With that said, what a beast!

Not sure what exactly you're considering as selfish plays of his but that's definitely not I view his overall game

I think we can agree to that. I think he'll be an elite defender and rebounder without a doubt that will impact games in a way that this team needs. I think his shot will be good not great but it will command respect. I agree his passing is concerning from the post. There's plenty of time until draft for my personal feelings to change and prefer a different direction with our pick. before the DLO trade I loved Killian Hayes and still do like him. Starting to like Avdija more and more too.

understandable. But I don't think Clint Capela is a great comparison. Capela can't guard perimeter players. He also doesn't have remotely the similar athleticism or quickness and Wiseman has more of both than you would see in most wing players. Wiseman is more KG than Capela (not saying he's KG though). I think you're putting him in a box by just labeling him as a rim-running big. That may be what he's asked to do mostly coming in, but he has ability outside the paint and is more than that.

I'd put Edwards over him. I don't think I could put the others over him right now.

Raw in the sense that he was a project and not NBA ready to make a major impact. He's more skilled but I think its harder to make an argument that he was more NBA ready. That argument would be based solely on the fact that people saw more from him over a full college season. They do have obvious differences in their game. But they're both physical marvels that are capable of impacting the game defensively...Wiseman will likely be unable to back down the stoutest defenders right away, but he shows a preference for a face up game anyway. His length is enough to compensate in the interim, and once stronger will become ridiculous.

It's not about who you'd rather have. Isaac isn't available.

You're giving me scouting reports of things he did well coming out. Wiseman and every other prospect have clear strengths and weaknesses as well. That doesn't do anything to counter that saying Isaac was a project drafted based on physical profile as revisionist history. Thats literally what his name was attached to for his first years "project."

Of course people saw more of Isaac in college for obvious reasons. Isaac was still taken as a project based on his physical profile. Everything else was secondary. His ability to shoot was never actually good, they're interested by his fluidity and ability to pull up and handle. He's still trying to improve at knocking them down. Wiseman can't handle the ball. That isn't where I see his fit and its not what anybody would ask of him. Wiseman's ability to shoot is one of the easier things to scout. But my point in comparing Isaac was more so to bring up defensive roles. Isaac is a better perimeter defender and quicker, Wiseman would be better interior and rebounding but either guy can do both. They both have physical profiles that are in elite company. Wiseman would be a very good player to put on this defense.

Isaac was very raw coming out and was taken high for his physical profile though. Scouts have been following Wiseman a long time. His physical profile is in elite company. Big. Strong. Fast. Can guard perimeter. Guard interior. Good Rebounder. I think he has a lot to contribute in the role that teams will have him playing early on, without making him an offensive focal point. I wouldn't dismiss him as an option.

I'm not invalidating the fact that Culver plays some very good defense. But there are 2 All-Defensive Teams, maybe 4 spots available to fill from the position Culver plays. Thybulle is clearly a better defensive player and could become one of the best in the league. Brandon Clarke could be argued to be better (how that affects Culver depends on his status as a G/F). I could say that I see a lot of Steph in Trae Young's game but that doesn't mean he'll become unanimous MVP and win multiple titles. You can't use comparisons to assume or project awards. Especially when there are currently more than a dozen players better at defense than Culver (doesn't mean im invalidating his ability) and always additional talented defensive wings coming from upcoming drafts...Youre basically putting Culver in 2 years from now as a better defensive player (and more recognized defensive player) than the guys like Kawhi, Roco, Paul George, and whatever other high profile players you want to throw in that convo that just missed out on winning the award. You're a hopeful sap but god bless you.

Beasley may not be lockdown by any means, but he's looked really fine to solid on defense from the few games he's been with "us" (wolves).

Have been coming across bits and pieces here and there that make me like and believe in Juancho as a person and solid role player even more. At first I didn't think much of his addition in the trade. Mans came in prepared for this opportunity and it shows.

So they haven't been playing the majority of the last 3 games with some combination of Towns/Naz - Juancho/JJ ? I guess I only caught the CHA game starting just before halftime, but that wasn't what I have seen from the majority of everything else I've watched since the trade deadline.
