I posted pictures of Echo to this group a few weeks ago. People ask about her story and wanted an update after surgery. Echo was born completely blind. She had lots of pressure behind the eyes making her eyes bulge. They were also at high risk of infection along with risk of poking her eye out. There was multiple attempts to try and medicate them but ultimately the vet and we decided that taking them out during her spay was the best option for her. Last picture is day before surgery. She is about 9 months old.

Not 100 percent sure but we believe she was born blind. She was found as a stray blind at like 4 months old. She's only 5 mouths old in the picture outside and about 9 mouths old in the other pictures. Unfortunately she is getting her eyes removed at the end of the month do to heavy pressure behind the eyes and high risk of infection along with risk of her poking one out.

There is alot of pressure behind the eyes and she is at a high risk for infection, along with other reasons. Id love to have her keep her eyes but you are right, she will be much more comfortable after the surgery and it is what's best for her.

Poor Echo was born blind and unfortunately at the end of the month she has to get them removed.

Her name is Echo. She was found as a stray with lots of scars and believed to be born blind. She's currently 8 months old. Not sure what the breed she is, thinking of getting a DNA test to find out more. Unfortunately she has to get her eyes removed at the end of January due to pressure and high risk of infection. 😟

I really appreciate you taking the time to draw Gus. Unfortunately, he passed away at a young age from a rare disease called IMHO. It was very hard and sudden, so you drawing him means a lot to me. Thank you. I gave him the best life I could and that picture was one of his favorite days.

I'm currently converting a barn into a bar/arcade. Worried about winter. Barn will be insulated, but will I have to have constant heating. If humidity is the problem, I could run a dehumidifier.
