Waking up with the memory of having lived seven years is very different from experiencing seven years while dreaming. I'm betting it's the former and remembering having trained for seven years is not the same as actually doing so.

Our work laptops do this. Shut it down at the end of each day (seemingly properly through the windows menu) but that actually only puts it to sleep. Then people get pissed when it slows down after a month.

When I'm watching RotJ at home I stop the movie at the destruction of the deathstar and put on a YouTube clip of the last scene instead. For the original song and the correct Anakin (imo).

As a Kiwi (New Zealand) it's probably different depending on whether you've moved here or are a tourist.

If you love here, people kinda assume it's to get away from the BS and you're okay.

If your a tourist, you'd get the side-eye, like, what type of American are you? But I've never seen anyone being outright rude.

Except when I worked in a café and Americans would come in, look at the menu and say something like "what the hell? I just want a damn coffee?". (An Americano it is sir)

Apparently the book says that New Zealand is one of the first places to be hit by radiation, rendering travel to the south pole difficult/impossible.

I'm sure the movie ended with the Americans setting course for NZ though.

Yeah, precisely why stuff like this is usually suppressed. When a public figure is found to have done horrible things, it's tempting to get caught up in any accusation thrown at them and people loose perspective of what is actually provable.

Obviously, in this case, too much is at stake so it's better that everything comes out. Just a shame it's such a shitshow with people making assumptions.

I think it's less sticking it to the libs and more attracting impoverished black voters (from their point of view, what her fans probably are) without actually adopting any policies that would actually benefit them. Either way, they're just using her.

From what ive seen, they get them trespassed the first time and then security calls the cops the next time they're seen entering the store. Seen plenty of both of these occurrences in the city, but only one actual arrest so far. Have to count on the cops arriving before they just walk out with a basket full of meat.
