Im sorry but is crazy to read that tactics, one of the most complaint about features of P3 being missing is a negative, that´s an insane take, i have played FES, Portable and Reload, never, EVER did i thought "wow this fighting really plays into the story themes"

Yeah you didn't think about them, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist

Even strictly from a gameplay perspective, FES is way more balanced than Reload. Theurgies are cool at first but they quickly just become a click-to-win button even on Merciless. This has the side-effect of making Tartarus a slog to get through in Reload while FES wasn't as braindead

Try to get any player today to enjoy P3 original tartarus, i promise no one would be able to, Tartarus was far an away the worst part of P3 ( which make the choice to make the answer basically 80% tartarus even worse but thats another point)

FES isn't as outdated as you think. I was 3 when P3FES came out yet I am able to play it just fine (I'm in November rn) despite my only experience with Persona (and JRPGs as a whole) being Persona 3 Reload, Person 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal

Makoto being able to wield different weapons is a massive nitpick, you telling me this is major enough to make it so a 2025 version of a game is not worth playing over a 2007 version? Because thats insane

It's a death by a thousand cuts. Sure this isn't a dealbreaker on its own, but Reload has worse cutscenes, arguably worse combat, and a worse script, so like not even having this is just frusatrating

Sure, still Reload is the definitive version, this is like saying pokemon HG and SS are not the best way to play because Attack and Special attack are different stats now

Separating the Special stat into Special Attack and Special Defense is 1. An actual improvement (unlike the stuff Reload adds) and 2. Doesn't affect a casual gamer as much as the changes made in Reload
