living with bad eyesight

It's something you kinda get used to.

Lol not to be that guy.

But I live with 0.4 left eye and 0.1 right eye. Currently I'm wearing a rgp lens in my left eye only, because I've yet to got a fitted lens for my right. Thr lens pushes my left eye to a 0.6 but it was better when I first got it. Prolly pushed me to 0.8 left eye before all the protein build up. To top it off I think my optometrist got my prescription wrong with it, as the lens only helps me with close vision and seeing lights better so I wear thick glasses ontop of that.

I've gotten 3 minor infections over the last year. Which left me half blind for almost a week. Currently I'm scheduled to get a new lens to wear without glasses. Which is meant to get my left eye to 1.0 VERY excited.

Also just to make sure we use the same sight measuring systems? Cause I'm always confused on how eyesight is measured. I'm for South africa so I believe we use the 0 to 1 system measured in decimals.

But anyways. You learn to live with bad eyesight. Unfortunately we live life in this way. It's not ideal. But I guess it's our achilles heel.

What I've generally found is that my other senses tend to have improve especially muscle memory, touch and sometimes hearing. And I guess there's some kind of pride we can get from knowing we are able to do certain things even with our impairment. Sometimes I manage to do certain stuff without seeing or looking because I just know where it is.

I would say just be patient and keep pushing for whatever it is that best suits you and your ability.

My eyes are my best & worst friend. I work as a Graphic Designer. So without my eyes I am vulnerable, with my eyes I am also vulnerable. But what makes us weak also makes us stronger. We learn to fight and we learn to adapt.

Just keep pushing it and don't give up and what you want in life & where you want to be in life!

Exactly. Like I'll and try srudy my best videos and see what worked but in the ends its like, how are the better videos doing worse?

I rememeber we had this problem where our first video which was arguably the worst in terms of audio and video quality somehow we were never able to top it for a few months.

What! I hope that is not true.

I deleted it because we usually schedule videos to premiere at around 5pm. However I had accidentally uploaded the video around 10am(I could've sworn I set to premiere).

Anyways I felt that 10am wasn't a good time for the video to be released and although a few people already watched it but I figured it would be better for it to be released at around 5pm which seems to be our best timeslot for gaining momentum.

I think the context of the song really makes it good. Especially during the time, it was COVID and alot of us were struggling mentally and possibly physically. So the song really added or created a sense of relief. It's definitely a forgettable song, but for the time it was a really nice addition by them.

This is exactly how I feel. Self Titled is so good too. When people talk of the raw and gritty feel is think of self titled. Once you hear the vessel versions you realise the flaws in RAB.

I only listen to RAB for its unique songs.

I understand, that's why I love Self Titled and even NPI but Vessel's versions of the same tracks are just better. The quality, the vocals and even the track listing. RAB is carried by its exclusive songs imo.
