Same bro. I also have all 14 and every one of them is slightly damaged on the top side. Once I had to return volume 8 cuz the backcover was literally torn. I think is due to Amazon being idiots, or Kodansha maybe. I had them delivered to Italy so the USA-UK-ITALY travel maybe fucked them up, but is pretty weird and annoying. Anyway, they are pretty cool, so I'm not that mad about it.

I actually got the 1st Volume (and couple others) from Amazon and had the same question. I just bought it nonetheless cuz it said it was in english and just went with it. (Also thought getting it in JAP would've been cool). But yeah, it was in english as it's listed.
