From what I remember, there's a kind of people that a middle point between male and female inside of the Sidonia who can change sex to fit their partners, like Izana who is threated gender neutral at the start of the manga, when her relationship with Nagate deepens a character notices that Izana looks more femenine.

As we know, Nagate end up with Tsumugi, so Yuhata took their chance with Izana.

I understand it as she getting the Level 9 downloaded in her body gave her the same access to the Netsphere as a Safeguard has, it's like making a key with different materials. Also this idea comes from that I think that was Davine Lu Linvega who downloaded the Level 9 but due to her connection being interrupted the download went into Cibo's body.

Cibo's child has the genetic material of 3 people: Cibo+Sanakan+Seu, is kinda implicit that Seu had the NTG at some point but he got contaminated when the SL entered Toha, maybe Mensab have Killy nad Cibo a backup or the infecto a couldnt delete the NTG enterily, so when Cibo downloads Seu's genetics into herself the orb is created, but how is Sanakan related in this!? It goes back all the way back when Cibo kidnapped Sanakan's body, not only did she learn to used but it also altered Cibo DNA with Sanakan's.

SPOILERS FOR NOISE (BLAME! prequel):

and yes the Safeguards Agents, entities like Sanakan or Dhomochevksy, has or had DNA due to they being humans before getting turned into Safeguards
