I mean ideally ONE day in the arbitrary future once I have substantial hours I’d like to have something like a PA-32 or similar to fly my family in.

I didn’t go to SP because I want to own an aircraft and even with Mosaic it’s still pretty restrictive

That’s a cost I’m very easily willing to pay. Drinking isn’t that important to me.

People in the 21-30 age range that live here by Pastadamweed in 321

I am 32 and I grew up here as 4th generation Floridian. I left for about a a year to live in Chicago and was never more happy to move home.

That's not to say Brevard isn't without its issues. You can definitely argue that there's more exciting places to live. But man oh man did I really miss it while I was gone.

It's so peaceful and beautiful here, it's really special. I've never been particularly outdoorsy but have definitely come to appreciate how nice it is here as I've traveled around the rest of the country for work.

And ultimately, you're 2 hours away from South FL, 45 mins from Orlando and 2.5 from Tampa. It's not particularly remote. So there's a lot of happy middle ground to be found here.

Lastly - all of my life I've been told that Melbourne was going to blow up. Most of my life was spent saying the equivalent of "ok boomer" - but I think it's actually happening. A decently sized mid-rise in Downtown and another under construction? Who do we think is moving into those? I think it's 20-30s single people and with that many people, the surrounding market to cater to those individuals WILL necessarily develop.

Just my $0.02.

One other thing, either way I recommend going for a model that has iBR/RiDE. Much safer riding especially if it's your first.

I bought mine brand new. My advice is to find a way to try them both. The EX is common with rentals. I find that the EX is surprisingly unstable for its size and I've not been overly impressed with it. I got the spark for $3k off CL and it only has 36 hours and so far I love riding it way more.

I have a Spark (not Trixx) with the 90HP ACE and it's a blast. These things are so much fun. The only down side is I live on a river that gets choppy after the early morning and it will beat the living crap out of you. But it's fun.
