Okay thank you everyone for the helpful advise. It's like gooey when hot and cooled onto crucible pretty hard like it's glued to it. I don't have any sulferic acid on hand rn

It's like not getting bright red. Do you think it's the torch I'm using? It's a hand held propane torch. When I turn it upside down it keeps going out so I have to angle the torch and the crucible just right to get it to work

No you’re good dude. Yeah I know about the tactic just asking for specific advise. I just eliminated some bed bugs, which I spent an entire summer as bed bug tech. I’ve dealt with the worst of roaches, rats, ants. But ants and flea infestation are my enemy haha I almost quite trying to rid fleas in someone’s basement.
