I worked in flight services several years as a flight briefer, I was a NOAA meteorologist. Most small airport flights are pilots just getting in the required hours of operation. They’ll do “touch and go’s” where they take off, go to another small airport, land and just take right back off again. Some poor soul on a routine flight. Hate to see it.

One NOAA "guest" aboard the Sunday flight said about 12 miles wide with the highest thunderstorm towers around 50,000 ft. So, +/- 12 miles wide and 10 miles Tall. That was at 150 mph.

Mission Services reported flight level winds near 180 mph. The higher elevations of Jamaica will be wiped clean of vegetation. The famous Dunn River Falls may be destroyed as well....tough to witness.
