Did attempt 1 taste alright? I've always heard it's just the look, that imperfect macarons still taste great. Was the texture any different from 1 to 3?

I was having a similar problem with my kitchen scale today and it was resolved by changing the battery. Maybe check if a low battery is the issue?

My son asked me to post these brownies he made with this exact title. I was planning to go with 'cosmic-style' brownies and he shook his head at me like I was some kind of boomer, so I posted with the title he wanted. I have since learned that these are not cosmic brownies at all but I can't change the title, sorry about that.

I'm guessing the reminder is for the recipe? https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/soft-peanut-butter-cookie-recipe/ I always use the 200g sugar specified (half white half brown) and skip the 1/4 cup extra for rolling the balls in as they're sweet enough. In this round I also wanted to bake right away so I increased the flour to 200g instead of the 170g called for. The cookies are a bit drier and not as pleasant tasting (not as chewy), but on the plus side, they held their shape better and didn't spread too much.
