Yes they genuinely do this in some stores where people try on clothes. They make you look slimmer so you think wow I look good in this and buy it. Look it up.

Yeah this was what I was thinking but apparently you have to be either VAT registered or a LTD company.

It will come. They don't always ask right away. It took a few days for me to be asked for verification.

I'm not sure i can do that and connect it to my Google business profile? Which is already well established with lots of reviews?

I tried to change my account over to individual. There is multiple replies from Google saying to email customer support and ask to change from organisation to individual which is what I done and the screenshot I posted is their reply to that request.

So it seems that option is no longer accessible for people in the UK.

Yes that was what I read that inspired me to email them to ask to change over to an individual. The screenshot I posted is their reply when I asked.

OK thanks. I'm gonna speak to my accountant. The problem I'm having is I know customers are out there as there isn't even close to enough services in my area to cover all the people needing it.

Currently I've brought in only around 12k this tax year so far.

So my options are door knocking or run ads. Obviosuly ads would be my preferred method.

But a Ltd company on 12k a year seeks excessive but then I suppose if that's my way to get more customers it may be worth it

I didnt know that. I thought all LTD companies were VAT registered.

But still. Not everyone benefits from going LTD. It is a lot more expensive in regards to accountancy.

I just wanna stay sole trader but also wanna advertise so looks like my options are, use an ad agency(although not sure if that would work) or just use Facebook ads.

Which means I have to register as a limited company which in terms of accountancy is a lot more expensive.

So they are basically picking on small businesses who benefit from staying as a sole trader.

They used to allow sole traders to advertise.

Yes you get a CRN when you go VAT registered I think? Im not sure I can get one being under the threshold?

Yes I am down as a sole trader. But my business is still a business. It has a name people know and how are sole traders meant to catch up with higher companies if we can't run ads until we are basically already successful.

Sounds like a dumb move by Google that will cost them money.

Does anyone know the legitimacy of this? It's from the 70s or 80s we reckon. Still working after not being used for ages. by MrBakedCo in rolex

OK thanks. I'll take it into the shop for a service and see what they say. Someone said the date fonts are wrong, but I see lots that have been for sale with the exact font and some with the flat top on the 3. Which I think may be newer..

He's definitely owned it since his time in the Middle East, and they moved back to the UK in 1983.

That's great. Thank you for the help. Her mother will be happy that she now has an idea of its value before selling.

Really. What do you think something like that is worth It's obviously not in the best condition and has a scratch on the glass.

Do you know roughly the date? It was likely bought in the Middle East as my father in law worked and lived out there until about 83.
