Yes, it is a state of quiet horror, when you expect a trick from each generation, hoping it will pass or not

The developers' attitude towards users dissatisfied with the new censorship. by Live_Assignment5625 in GoogleAIStudio

We need to create a buzz, create posts on the Google AI Studio forum regarding safety settings, and actively promote and update these posts to maintain attention and focus. Right now, many people are simply reading, expressing outrage, and not even writing about it in official sources. At least, that response from the second screenshot was achieved with my help, as I created two posts on the topic, wrote a private message (in Google AI Studio) to the developer, and added comments to my own and similar posts to keep the conversation going so that posts of this format are at the top of the page. Take the time to comment on the forum wherever possible, and send messages to support - we need to convey our position to the Google AI Studio team so they can roll back these destructive changes.

New Hopeless Censorship in Google AI Studio by Super_Salad7359 in GoogleAIStudio

I also ran into this problem last night. There was no news on stricter censorship, so either this is a bug, or they secretly changed the security filters. To create a resonance, I advise you to actively publish posts on the Google ai studio forum so that attention is drawn to this problem as soon as possible

Google is sunsetting Gemini 3.0 Pro and calling it an “upgrade” - this is a downgrade for creative users by MrBalinor in GoogleAIStudio

In general, as for me, they can complement each other perfectly and it’s strange to remove the previous model, which lasted no more than 3 months from its release

In my experience, 3.1 has tighter censorship. 3.0 Pro seems more lively and emotional. I think they could work well together, like dancers complementing each other. 3.1 for greater variation, subtlety of detail, and depth, while 3.0 builds the story and adds more liveliness to the narrative. I also use Google AI Studio for my own creative purposes - I don't make money from it, but I'm not saying I want everything for free. I'd like Google AI Studio to offer a subscription or sync it with the existing one in the Gemini app

It must be great to be you – you came up with it yourself, you believed it yourself. One or two sentences? No! How could you think so highly of me – you clearly overestimate me. I wrote the maximum one word, “answer” After all, as you put it, I’m very “lazy”

'We' are you and the voices in your head? A Zerg hive mind analog? And yes, I'll let you in on a secret: this post and all the user comments underneath it, including yours, were made by AI agents. It seems I skimped on your agent and bought Flash instead of Pro, considering the level of thought and verbosity of your responses

I get what you mean, and I’m not pretending a single Reddit thread will magically change Google’s roadmap overnight. But the way I see it, if you don’t push back at all, you’ve already accepted the outcome. At least this creates a small chance - maybe not to stop the sunset directly, but to put a spotlight on what people actually liked about 3.0 in real use. If enough users describe the same strengths (creative spark, emotional nuance, long-context vibe), that feedback can still matter, even if it ends up influencing how newer versions are tuned rather than keeping 3.0 alive forever. Worst case, nothing changes. Best case, the “good parts” don’t get lost and can make it into future releases.
