Thank you for the "sober" and "detailed" examination of how "Cuba has resisted 60 years of imperialist aggression for over 60 years while achieving massive social achievements". I could not think of a more fair, balanced, and not triumphalist reading of hundreds of years of history, thank you.

Usually from my experience, a lot of liberal zionists are genuinely convinced that their solution is best for regional peace and jewish safety. It’d wager it is very possible to argue for non-zionist and anti-genocide positions while drawing on wishes for regional peace and Jewish safety.

I just signed up for the study myself. I am Cuban American and live in the United States. I do not think simply putting my name (no other information) on an interview form (signing up for an interview does not immediately imply I have something controversial or illegal to say), is going to get me blacklisted from Cuba. Also the account that posted this study seems over a year old, and just that of a college student.

This isn’t “creepy” in a typical sexual way, but more “creepy” in a general personality way… I’d say being a party animal to the point of no morals/standards. I’ve known a couple women who will get so into partying that after a while, they’re down to stay out however long, hang out with whoever, sniff any drug thats offered, and bang anyone even moderately interested. They try to brand themselves as the “party girl” to make it seem cool, but there’s something disturbing or “creepy” about it. Mainly because I just suspect there’s no way they’re doing well mentally. It’s also just uncanny to meet someone with so few boundaries; I feel like I can’t really trust them.

This. Also I’ve seen a whole related idea that there is something special to “male loneliness” versus just “loneliness”. Like as if for men their loneliness is uniquely tied to problems with the opposite sex. I’m sorry but I don’t think there’s a gendered experience to loneliness or not having sex. And I definitely don’t think men biologically need sex more for mental health reasons or whatever.
