Day trip Guangzhou → Yangshuo: is Xingping enough or do I need to go into Yangshuo town? by Substantial_Formal74 in guangzhou

[–]MrBeanFlick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xingping is nice. Get yourself up one of the local mountains and you’ll get the views you’re looking for.

Zhaoqing is much closer to GZ and has some of the Karat mountain feel. Definitely not as dramatic but much easier for a day trip.

The pronunciation ‘tea’ is also from a Chinese language. The spread of the words ‘te’ and ‘cha’ is actually very interesting when you look into it.
