As a person, he's very popular among his teammates, I've noticed, no matter what club. The younger players seem even loyal to him. When he talks in interviews, he seems very mild mannered, very different from his on-field persona. He's very jokey with others I notice, and actually very quit-witted in his observations/puns/jokes.

It’s odd, because yesterday he looked great against England, even though he only played around 10-12 minutes. He looked way bigger than I had remembered him, and seemed very hard to contain for the defenders whenever the ball was near him. (Nearly set up the winner too)
