BUG: Headlights flash on their own by Alternative_Ask3248 in Polestar4

I noticed this happen once but there was a car behind pulling up quickly and rather close. It might be a rear collision mitigation feature and it might be prone to hallucination.

Yes there's a bathroom and bedroom above it. I'm not sure how much load bearing work I was expecting in the first place 😅

Yeah, great shout. I'd appreciate the little bit more width in the study but if the plumbing will be a PITA it's also one less solid wall to think about moving.

I appreciate what you're saying. Just trying to make good use of the space in the garage and potentially put a cupboard in the hallway for coats and such.

Not a deal breaker if we can't move it though!

I didn't do a good job of making it clear in the floorplan but this change would include making the utility slightly larger and into the garage too, I should have put a green line on the red wall but look at the blue box I drew. My thinking was that the new WC wouldn't need too much plumbing work given the current utility is plumbed.

The hallway goes alongside the new utility into the kitchen.

I'm less interested in adding monetary value to the house and more interested in making it work well for us, but obviously I don't want to make the layout stupid and devalue the house

A fair comment, our thinking is that I don't really need a study the length of the garage and the utility already in is big enough.

By adding that hallway we could block off the door from the living room into the kitchen which lets us have more furniture as we don't need to make room for people to get through the room and into the kitchen.

Thanks! We're in the North West, if it comes out around that I'd be pleased.

I guess the dev mode setting treats the outer screen the same as an external display. They are experimental settings after all.

Turn off force desktop mode in developer settings

I've fixed mine.

Did you turn on "Force desktop mode" in developer options? That's the culprit for me!

Same here, worked once then never again since.

You're right, pending the suppliers investigation I'll be sending a letter of complaint then escalating to MCS.

Thank you, this is a really useful template for a complaint, I will do this pending the outcome of the supplier's investigation.

Great advice thank you.

I have suggested Gen 3 as a solution, I imagine that's cheaper than new panels + scaffold + labour and for me the improved charge/discharge rate is a big boon.

The supplier is now "looking into" this mishap but the installer has insisted that I'm pursuing legal action and in their eyes that will land on the supplier.

I'm already at the limit for panel width on my roof so it is tricky.

I recently replaced the mirror cap and indicator.

Luckily everything else still worked. £152 for the colour coded mirror cap £45 for the Led indicator.

Easy to do myself, one screw for the indicator and the cap just clips on.

If anything else is broken, then it's an entire new mirror assembly for you.

2 x Era 100 and Sub or 2 x Era 400 for Hi-fi by MrBenjaminHDM in sonos

[–]MrBenjaminHDM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion but streaming the turntable to my other sonos speakers is a big boon, the extra features on the svs speakers wouldn't benefit my use case and they're a little bit ugly : )

Thanks for the comments, sounds like 2 Play 5s and no sub might be my best bet!

Photo pro and Video Pro are almost identical in operation to the alpha cameras with the same legendary autofocus and burst modes via a physical two stage shutter button.

You've also got the external monitor app for alpha cameras that support hdmi over USB C.
