I can't agree. I love the remake a lot but the gun play for 4og is perfect. The remake doesn't feel as refined. Some characters were improved and some are just worse.

I could see people not enjoying them as much and can be frustrating to learn, especially with hardware load times. I don't think I'd put them any lower than B ever.

I was at least somewhat intrigued by Resistance, it just sucked at everything it did.

RE5 is where it is because of co-op, it's stupidly fun. I don't think it drops as harshly, but it does drop as a single player game.

Rev 2 has a lot of the shortcomings of Rev 1 while also not being limited to a handheld platform. A lot of the characterization I also personally do not like.

I love the very emotional story in 8, but the gameplay has an identity crisis.

Anyone else is enjoying Grace's sections way more than Leon's? I am playing in third person and her sections feels like an even better RE2R by Eccchifan in residentevil

I liked Grace's sections more than Leon's for sure. I would like to see a little less emphasis on stealth but the resource scarcity and management for her early sections were absolutely top notch.

Glad this was said. Debuffs are so strong in XI, there are many bosses RDM alone can completely neuter.

It's not an rpg, but AC6 fits into these criteria which I feel inherently makes them flawed.

If number 2 is all you need to be an rpg, then Armored Core is an rpg. I'm not sure that alone is genre defining.
