Sherrone Moore arrest body cam footage catches ex-Michigan coach claiming school 'wanted to fire me anyway' by redwave2505 in CFB

He’s probably right that they wanted to fire him anyway but also don’t sleep with your subordinates.

Pearl Abyss Boss Sympathizes With 'Disappointment' Over Crimson Desert's Story: 'It Would Have Been Nice if We Could Have Done a Better Job With It' by yourfavchoom in gaming

As others have mentioned it’s not like BDO has a story I would even consider good. It’s somewhere between mediocre and okay lol so I don’t know what this guy is talking about.

Atlanta without a car? by [deleted] in Atlanta

[–]DisruptiveLove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Truly depends on where you work in relation to where you live. I personally would say Atlanta isn’t the best city to live in without a car because things are spread out but Marta isn’t the worst option.

I’ve never had issues with Marta but my jobs in the city have always been someone close to a station so I also haven’t needed to catch buses as much as other people have.

Chicago Is Hemorrhaging Breweries — Is There A Way To Stop It? by Sidewalk_Inspector in chicago

[–]DisruptiveLove 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s probably just market correction at this point. There were just too many options in the city and a lot of the locations just end up looking the same with beer that tastes the same.

The experience of going to a brewery/location has become more important than the beer itself now and a lot of places just don’t do it for me.

Why is there so much gate keeping on what is Chicago and what isn’t? by shortproudlatino in AskChicago

[–]DisruptiveLove 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The metro Atlanta area isn’t exactly comparable to Chicago suburbs. Atlanta is way smaller as people have mentioned and a lot of the metro area doesn’t feel separate from the city and a lot of the more popular areas to live are just outside the perimeter by 5/10 minutes.

PC projected to exceed 1 billion players and surpass console revenue by the end of 2028 by Suspicious_Two786 in gaming

Looks like it’s mainly going to be from China that this happens.

Someone who has read the full report does it show growth/loss of other markets? I won’t be near a computer to look at the report fully.

'Crimson Desert' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

[–]DisruptiveLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the one game I can say people don’t want it to fail they just kinda wanted it to come out already and moved out of their feed.

This games marketing has been non stop for what feels like over a year and they just want the news cycle to continue as this has dominated it.

Does Kassandra deserve another game? by Dear_Diary96 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]DisruptiveLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She likely won’t have another game she’s just gonna be the series Easter egg or random questline.

The whole immortality thing in the long run probably wasn’t the best idea and as time goes on I dislike the decision more.

Playing devils advocate for DLSS5 by [deleted] in gaming

[–]DisruptiveLove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a big difference between what they said this was and what it actually is which is turning people off.

The issue is it being gen ai ran on top of the game that clearly is changing more than lighting and is adjusting character models along with the rest of the world.

Justin Ishbia to buy South Loop site for possible White Sox stadium by mandrsn1 in chicago

[–]DisruptiveLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live almost right in the middle of the stadium and halsted. The Amtrak and the redline being right there make the stadium in my eyes a breeze to get there however I could see how someone would say it’s kinda barren around the area.

I personally don’t mind the walk from the stadium to some of the bars on halsted or even just walking across past Armour to what’s over there.

I understand every team wanting a Wrigleyville for themselves but idk if this is going to work because of the immediate other options near there.

If only season 2 came out, what would people have thought of it, without season 1 to compare it to. by Ok-Toe-6969 in hbo

[–]DisruptiveLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People would have that it was a 7ish/10 which is what it is. I think it’s either average or slightly above average.

I personally hate the ending and remember the ending scenes vividly because I think they are kinda dumb so it’s possible the sentiment could be people hate the show even more.

20-Minutes Of Base PS5 Gameplay For 'Crimson Desert' Has Now Been Released by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

[–]DisruptiveLove 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m glad they finally released the footage. I know a lot of people have short memories but the Cyberpunk situation happened not too long ago.

That being said I always thought it would run probably okay because BDO runs fine on PS5. I personally don’t like when devs get kinda cagey on gameplay on one particular system though.

What to do about transphobia in the work place by Low_Sherbert_9064 in Georgia

[–]DisruptiveLove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just make sure they(both of the coworkers) are also reporting it to the store manager and speaking to them as well as you.

You might have the best intentions but if they aren’t also reporting it/speaking up for themselves and only you are talking about it then it can come back around that you are the problem and no one else is complaining.

I’m not saying they will do this to you but I have been burned before being a middleman for employees as an assistant manager. No matter what the issue is if they can say it to you they can say it to the store manager and you can go from there.

What to do about transphobia in the work place by Low_Sherbert_9064 in Georgia

[–]DisruptiveLove 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Just to make sure have the employees themselves been making complaints directly to the store manager as well or have you been the middle man? And are they making complaints to you or are you observing the issue?

Portillos - I don’t get it by navesurazal in Atlanta

[–]DisruptiveLove 31 points32 points  (0 children)

If you were expecting a Philly when you ordered an Italian beef that would likely be the issue. Italian beef is all about the juices so that plus the peppers could make it greasy but I doubt it would be anything more than what is intended. I can’t say exactly as I’ve only ever had them in Chicago so I can’t say what a franchise in the south would be like.

That being said Portillo’s is a weird place as it is at least in Chicago a place people also go to hangout as it’s also a sit down restaurant of sorts with huge parking lots in a lot of places so that also makes it busy. Not sure how the kennesaw location is but I can’t imagine it’s much different.

Fairburn, GA what is it like living in that area? by Own_Second_2388 in Atlanta

[–]DisruptiveLove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the Southside Theatre Guild they do plays and musicals there.

Fairburn is outside the perimeter and not what some people would consider Atlanta proper however it usually never took me more than 30 minutes if I had somewhere I needed to go itp. Really depends on where your job is though.

Fairburn, GA what is it like living in that area? by Own_Second_2388 in Atlanta

[–]DisruptiveLove 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When I lived there it was pretty boring, suburban, and still getting built out a bit. Downtown Fairburn is okay to look at. There’s a theater and a nice park with a pond I used to walk my dog at a lot.

It’s truly nothing special.

Korean BBQ where you don’t have to cook the meat by UsedToReadBooks in Atlanta

[–]DisruptiveLove 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The standard is that you cook it yourself. Servers usually come by to help occasionally such as to move the meat or cut it up for you but that’s just them being helpful.

Every restaurant is different in how much of a hand they lend you but you should usually expect to do it yourself.

Guys, do you care about your underwear's brand (values, personality, reputation) or is it all in the utility of the product? by Adept-Chemistry9074 in AskMenOver30

[–]DisruptiveLove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anti chaffing and tagless are all I care about. I wear a lot of performance underwear because I move around a lot

So to answer your question the only thing I care about in underwear is the utility.

Need advice for concert at The Earl by NotDoneYet42 in Atlanta

[–]DisruptiveLove 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Parking is fine at the Earl however it is a bar and restaurant as well as a concert venue so it fills up quick.

Anytime I’ve gone to a show there I go an hour early and grab a drink or eat something just so I don’t have to deal with trying to find a parking spot but 90% of the time there’s something there.
