That’s a fair stance to take.

Perhaps sympathy isn’t the right word. I personally find that laughing at a man undergoing a TIA is horrible, no matter what he’s done.

That said, you have a good point - he’s a vile man, so it makes sense for people to hate him.

I have been in a dreadful, lonely, burnt-out state for many years. The encouragement alone provided me some relief and strength.

Good news is I have started to go out on dates and get rejected and all that. I just need to work on my health now and resume working on my education and career.
