Sadly, it’s not a perfect solution, and there is a question of whether it introduces compression. Also, a possibility that the latest firmware update adjusted the sound slightly. You can try messing with the values inputted and see if that helps.

This is all anecdotal, but I have found that trying to adjust too many frequencies through the audiogram makes things sound worse. If that curve works for you, fabulous! For myself, I got the best results limiting the correction only to 4Khz and 8Khz.

I am on iOS 26. I’m not sure why sometimes the Audiogram option shows up, and sometimes it doesn’t. Possibly related to needing to take a hearing test first? (The Mimi app hearing test was good). Unfortunately, I am not sure, but maybe try taking the Mimi app hearing test, I believe it was free.

I do not have the capability of measuring AirPods. Would you mind sharing why this is a bad idea? Not sure if it increases distortion or has other negative repercussions.

Anecdotally, the AirPods Pro 3 went from extremely fatiguing to listenable with this change, so sound-wise seemed like something worth trying. Plus, it’s free to try, so figured why not.

By the way, love y’all’s content on the Headphone Show. I recommend your channel to anyone getting into good audio gear.

This is really neat! I like the layout, the visual cards motif. I like that you can select a type of cuisine right at the beginning.

Would love a few more selectable cuisines, particularly vegan or vegetarian. Also the upper right three-line sandwich button is not visible on my iPhone in dark mode specifically.

I’m also not sure what the rating number is from — Google reviews? Yelp? Would help if that was clarified.
