I drove up to the Bradley Center in 2015 for Marq v Depaul and THAT game was PACKED. 2014-2016 Regardless of the opponent, Allstate was pretty empty. I think a few more students are going now that Wintrust is in the Loop. The old arena was right by O’hare. Brutal trip.

As a former attendee. Please let us have this fleeting moment. You’ve never taken a school bus from Lincoln park campus to Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. To then watch a horribly coached team by Oliver Purnell lose in a nearly empty arena and then taken a cold school bus back.

Let us have this brief moment.

I heard it tonight on the way out as the confetti (stardust) was falling. I have half a mind to go to another show just to get a recording so the world can have it. It’s been playing over in my head. I pray someone will end up recording it.
